The Block’s Summer Gin is an OG. Infused with fresh peels from hundreds of pounds of fresh citrus fruits, delicately removed by hand peelers by the TBDC team and likely obligated family of the founders. That base gin is then infused with precise amounts of time, rations of weight to volume, and temperature of extraction to achieve the balance of flavors.
Citra hops have a strong citrus and tropical fruit flavor profile which pairs beautifully with our, already citrusy, Summer Gin. We used a surprisingly small amount of hops to curb the bitterness, but still give the gin a strong grapefruit, mango, and pineapple aroma.
