Please Vote in 2020: A Guide To Voting In Colorado

Bring Your Vote Sticker to The Block!

It is incredibly important to us that our patrons, friends, and family get out there and vote in 2020. It is easy to argue that we feel unheard so why vote? The nerdy engineer sees the data side (which we fully self admit to being). What does data have to do with voting? We put many many more data points on the graph to shift the average towards something we want. Outside of volunteering, working with lobbyists, etc. voting is the easiest way to make our contribution. And if you're in Colorado we have the pleasure of having a tried and true mail in ballot system that has proved itself since 2014. I mean even the POTUS votes by mail. Making sure you're registered is an easy online form along with registering if you haven't already. There are some helpful links below. Alright sales pitch over...just fucking do it. And if you do, and prove you did, we will give you a half priced cocktail in celebration!

November 1st - 3rd

we will offer a 1/2 price cocktail if you bring your “I Voted” sticker to the Tasting Room!

Come join us from Sunday, 11/1 through Election Day to have a cocktail in celebration of casting our ballots. Bring in your sticker and we will give you a half priced cocktail. Don’t forget your sticker!

Voting information

In Colorado, every registered voter automatically receives a ballot by mail. Each Colorado county will start to mail ballots October 9, 2020.

Registering to Vote:

In Colorado, you can register to vote right up to the minute the polls close on Election Day!

If you have a Colorado ID you can register to vote online, or in person at a Voting Service & Polling Center beginning on October 19 through 7:00 pm on November 3.

If you do not have a Colorado ID you can print out and mail in this form or register in person at a VSPC beginning on October 19 through 7:00 pm November 3.

Casting Your Vote:

  1. Voting by mail: Once you’ve filled out your ballot, put it in the envelope included with your ballot. Sign the outside of the envelope, add 2 stamps and put it back in the mail! It’s that easy! Mail your ballot on or before October 26 to ensure it arrives by Election Day.

  2. Dropping off your ballot: Ballot drop boxes will open starting on October 9. You can drop your ballot off at any drop box 24 hours a day, or at a Voter Service & Polling Center until 7:00 pm on November 3rd. Find a drop box here.

  3. Voting in person: You can vote in person starting on October 19 at a Voting Service & Polling Center in your county. Find a Voting Center here.

A few notes about voting:

  • Please read up on ALL the measures that will be on your ballot. In addition to the presidential and Senate race on your ballot, you’ll find 11 statewide ballot measures to vote on. Here is the low-down on those measures.

  • We will leave the Presidential race and the Senate race out of this post because we are sure you have likely heard enough about those races and have likely already made up your mind.

  • If you don’t feel comfortable voting one way or the other on one of the measures or senate race, you don’t have to! Your ballot is not a test, you do not have to fill in every answer.

Track Your Ballot

Finally make sure you were counted. You can sign up to track the status of your ballot! Isn’t that rad? Track your ballot here.

Cheers to exercising our Democratic freedom to cast our votes!
