About the whiskey:

Straight Rye Whiskey - Bottled in Bond made from rye, millet and malted barley. Single barrel, only one exists of this age.

50% ABV | 375ml

Bottled in Bond means the whiskey has been aged for at least 4 years and must be released at 100 proof. No higher and no lower.

Rye can be a polarizing category due to the black pepper spice the grain contributes consistently. The spice can be misinterpreted as alcohol “heat” and vice versa. The millet was chosen to balance the rye and does so wonderfully, resulting in a 100 proof rye that you will want to savor and sip.

We are not saying this is one of one batch or that we will never make it again but we are saying this is not a staple whiskey and we only plan to have a single batch per year at the most.

Why aren’t we making it more consistently? Especially when it tastes so incredible that it deserves an emphasized release? A few reasons:

1. To be designated as Rye Whiskey the mash bill must be a minimum of 51% rye. Many of the Rye Whiskies on the market contain a much higher proportion and in our opinion have a consistent medicinal flavor note that is not necessarily negative to everyone but not favorable for us. .

2. Our original distillation capacity could only handle a few staple whiskies. We knew that we wanted a bourbon and had created our Four Grain recipe that we were all in love with.
